Elizabeth Coffin, School Social Worker
Ms. Coffin is proud to be on the staff of Jamaica Children's School. She comes to the school with over 10 years of experience working in education, where her focus has been to support students with their social-emotional development through individual and group counseling, family consultation and teacher collaboration. In addition to her role as a social worker, her other roles have included Chair of the Learning Support team at Excellence Boys Charter School and Student Support Coordinator at Uncommon Collegiate Charter High School. Ms. Coffin is a licensed clinical social worker. She holds a Masters degree from Hunter College School of Social Work and a Bachelors degree in Anthropology from Grinnell College. She enjoys reading, dancing, being outside and spending time with her family and friends.
